This policy explains how PT Indo Smart Media ("we") handles your personal data when you use Pasangan, with reference to Indonesia's Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.
Data we collect
- Account: name, email, WhatsApp number, password (stored as a hash), date of birth, gender.
- Profile: photos, bio, job, education, height, religion (if you provide it), interests, relationship goal.
- Location: coordinates you allow, to find people near you. Others only see your city and a rounded distance.
- Face verification (biometric, specific personal data): camera images from the liveness check and the movement results.
- Activity: likes, matches, messages, reports, and conversations with PasanganVA.
- Payments: channel, amount, and status. We do not store bank or card details.
How we use it
- To run the service: matching, chat, and paid features.
- To keep people safe: preventing fake accounts, fraud, and abuse.
- To give AI guidance that fits your situation.
- To meet legal obligations.
We process data based on your consent and on performing our service agreement. You can withdraw consent by deleting your account.
Third parties
- DeepSeek processes messages you send to PasanganVA with limited profile context (first name, age, city, interests, current step). Email, phone number, coordinates, and verification images are not sent. This service may process data outside Indonesia.
- Winpay processes payments.
- WhatsApp providers deliver OTP codes.
- OpenStreetMap/Nominatim powers location search through our server.
We do not sell your personal data.
Face verification
Verification images are stored separately, never shown to other users, only visible to authorized reviewers, and every access is logged. They are deleted 30 days after the verification decision.
Security
We use encrypted connections, password hashing, photo metadata removal, access controls, and audit logging. No system is risk-free; if a data protection failure occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as required.
Retention
Data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, photos, messages, and verification images are permanently removed. Transaction records are kept, detached from your account, for financial obligations.
Your rights
You may access, correct, download, and delete your data, and withdraw consent. Most of this is available in Settings; for anything else contact info@indosmartmedia.com.
Age
Pasangan is only for people aged 18 and over. Accounts below that age will be removed.
